01What we collect
When you place a listing: the URL or handle you submit, the category and description you choose, and the amount you bid. This is public by design — it is the listing.
We do not ask for, receive or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Dodo Payments.
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, address or phone number.
02Cookies this site sets
outbid_locale — remembers the language you picked, so the site stops sending you elsewhere. Expires after 90 days.
outbid_presence — an anonymous identifier used to count how long you have actively been on the site, for the free listing tier. It contains no personal information and is not readable by scripts.
datafast_visitor_id — set by our analytics provider, described below.
03Analytics
We use Datafast for audience measurement. It reports aggregate figures — visitors, pageviews, where visits came from — which we publish openly on the stats page.
When you pay for a listing, the analytics visitor identifier is passed to the payment provider so the sale can be attributed to the channel that brought you here. No other information is linked to it.
04Outbound clicks
We count clicks on listing links so the count can be displayed publicly. The count is per listing, not per person — we do not record who clicked.
05Fetching the page you submit
When you type a URL, our server requests that page once to read its title, description and icon. That request comes from our server, not from your browser, and your address is not passed to the site.
Listing images are served through our own domain rather than linked directly, so visitors' addresses are not disclosed to the sites listed.
06Who processes data for us
Dodo Payments — payments and receipts, as merchant of record.
Datafast — audience analytics.
Supabase — the database holding the board, hosted in the European Union.
Vercel — hosting and delivery.
07How long data is kept
Listings remain while they are on the board. Removed listings are deleted from the live board.
Attention records used for the free tier reset every 24 hours.
Payment records are retained by the payment provider under their own policy and applicable accounting rules.

You can clear the cookies above in your browser at any time; the site continues to work without them.
